Description:
Responsible for providing Check Point and Juniper/NetScreen firewall/VPN/IDS training, support and professional services to large, medium and small companies. VPN Dynamics is a focused Internet security reseller and authorized training partner for Check Point, Juniper/NetScreen and Nokia.
Duties: |
- Support growing customer base on a variety of security products Check Point, Nokia, Juniper/NetScreen implementations
- Teach Check Point and Juniper/NetScreen certification courses
- Design or assist in designing Network Security Architectures, utilizing skills to properly place firewalls,VPN, IDP, IPS, Anti-Virus and other security products in the corporate network
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to customers

| Requirements: |
- Strong knowledge of Firewalls, IDS, proxies, and routers
- Proficient in working with networking protocols, IP
- Practical experience with firewall and VPN troubleshooting
- Experience in working with routing protocols
- Proficient in working with Linux. Strong verbal, written, listening and presentation skills
- Previous training and support experience is highly desired
- Strong technical knowledge in other security products like IDSs
- Sound understanding of prevailing security issues Broad operational and technical experience
- Experience supporting Juniper/NetScreen, CheckPoint
- Experience troubleshooting and managing firewall and VPN infrastructure
- A working knowledge of proxies and routers
- The ability to manage conflicts that arise; using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict between two or more people
- A proven track record demonstrating the ability to negotiate
- 5 years related experience required with a demonstrated record of accomplishment

| Education: |
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required
- Check Point Certified Security Associate (CSSA)
- Check Point Certified Security Engineer (CCSE)
- Juniper/NetScreen Certified Security Associate (NCSA)
- Desired
- Check Point Certified Security Instructor (CCSI)
- Juniper/NetScreen Certified Security Instructor (NCSI)
